This immaculate 1957 Ford Thunderbird is a complete off frame "nuts and bolts" restoration. This restoration was done by the owner of the car and he has over 30 years experience doing custom restorations and "One Off" vehicles. His cars have been featured in movies, Winston Cup Series Pace Cars, and many, many car shows. This particular T-Bird has a Certified Appraisal of $115,000.00 from Barry A. Sterneck Automotive Appraisal Service in Stuart, Florida.

This '57 T-Bird is "owner restored" and started out in pretty good shape with NO RUST (except for one minor patch which was easily taken care of). It did have its share of MINOR "dings and dents" but nothing major and it had not been wrecked. It's a "California" car and the owner looked for a LONG time before he found this one. This restoration is 95% plus ORIGINAL! The windshield is OEM replacement. The "port hole" windows in the hard top bear the Ford logo.

The owner of this classic did a complete "frame off" restoration. Every square inch of this beautiful 57 T-Bird was inspected, cleaned, repairs made if needed, frame was "powder coated", everything was painted and then re-assembled. This is not some "run of the mill shade tree mechanic" restoration. Roy (the owner of the car) is a retired Professional Restoration Technician that owned his own Restoration and Body Shop for over 30 years. If you have ANY questions about the quality of the work, the work that was done, or how it was done, feel free to contact the owner at 804-514-4071 and he will be more than happy to speak with you.

This 1957 Ford Thunderbird came from the factory equipped with the E-Code options. It has the 312 cubic-inch overhead valve V8 engine with dual Holley four-barrel carburetors that produced 270 horsepower. It has a three-speed manual gearbox with overdrive and four-wheel drum brakes. These cars are often referred to as 'E-Birds' and were known as the "muscle car" of its day.

This slide presentation shows some of the final stages of the restoration.
